What the...?! Literally 'Men's Choir The Shouters', this 30-40 members strong spectacle of a powerhouse act SHOUTS its conductor's own carefully-constructed rhythmically complex 'versions' (with no melodic similarity left) of various Finnish 'patriotic' marches, workers' songs, and children's ditties. They also like to dismember the national anthems of all the countries they tour in (which is quite many). Quite possibly the most original 'band' on Bad Vugum (or any other label, for that matter), it sure ain't rock'n'roll, baby..

Out on Bad Vugum:

H.Y.V.Ä 7" EP / MCD (Bad-44)

("G.O.O.D.")"Who'da believed; the screaming racket does not lose its intensity on a record.. Sustains its high level of dynamics from start to finish." -Vinylmania (FIN).
"Enpä olisi uskonut -eihän se huuto latistukaan levyllä.. Säilyttää dynaamisuutensa alusta loppuun." -Vinylmania.

10th Anniversary Concert CD (Bad-79)

The choir celebrate their ten years of breaking the barriers between avantgarde art and witty entertainment with this unusually efficient-sounding live-CD, that features most of their international tour favourites as well as all the finnish-language shouting hits. The 24 tracks / 33 mins long show culminates in the gradual expansion of the 35-member current line-up into the reunion spectacle with no less than 80 shouters!
"Livelevy onkin paras tapa kokea Huutajat -Suomen ankarin, omaperäisin.. ja hurmaavin vientituote- epäelävässä tilanteessa." -Rumba
