During these "jazzcore cult heroes'" formative years people with no imagination used to blurt out rash comments like "Gives NoMeansNo and Victims Family a run for their money" and miss the effectively noisier yet more entertaining point altogether. The band just shrugged it off and continued their lightning-fast progress into the fiercest and most versatile "hardbopcore" trio around, even earning, as the first Finnish band ever, an invitation to appear on the John Peel radio session. Stop press: after a hiatus of more than six years, DT have now reformed, and they mean business. Lots of collections, remasters, and completely new stuff in the pipeline, on their own Zerga label.

Out on Bad Vugum:

Snakefish 7" EP (Bad-29)

"Fast, varied, aggressive, and tight-as-fuck jazzfunkpunk á la "Wrong" though slightly noisier.. I might be mad to claim that it's THAT good!" -Moshable (DK). "Progressive guitar work arrangements full of humor, and a very nasty shouter.. This mixture of thrashrock, artrock, polka and hardcore would go fine with Shimmy Disc, only it might be too hard for them" -Zap (GER).

Satanus Uranus Tetanus 7" EP (Bad-34)

More playful and entertainingly inventive effort, without losing the noisy urgency (à la Ruins). "A new trip from the experimental, totally unique band... This is "Noise" with a brain..." -Zap.

+ 3 exclusive tracks on "Mykistäviä välikohtauksia" / "Dumbstriking Incidents" (Bad-38)

Tom Waits goes techno!" -Rumba). "Älä osta tätä kokoelmaa, jos haluat kuulla jotain tavanomaista!" -T.V.
